5 Degrees of Summer: artsPSWT @ NiteHawk Cinema
5 Degrees of Summer features 5 local artists and a gradual range from realism to abstraction. The work spans the quiet Brooklyn-scapes of Tom Keough, surreal collage genre scenes by Rich Garr, and the bright geometric still-lifes of Tina Vurgaropulou to the gritty textures of Raya Dukhan. Please join the artists for a reception this Wednesday August 28th from 6-8pm. The show is free and open to the public on the mezzanine level of the Nitehawk Theater at the border of Park Slope, Windsor Terrace & Prospect Park. It will be on display through September, when the artists begin preparing for Open Studio events in October and November.
